Agronomic Solutions strives to provide accurate and cost-effective soil sampling programs for our customers. Spring season soil sampling has been proven to show many advantages over fall sampling, providing a win-win situation for both supplier and grower.

Time savings for grower and supplier-sample results received in the spring give a jump start on planning for fall fertilizer. No waiting on sampling to be done in the fall
Samples are more consistent in spring because soil moisture tends to be present as opposed to a dry fall that can affect soil tests
Recommended by universities to allow crop residue to leach the nutrients back into the soil for more accurate results
For growers who till immediately behind the combine, spring sampling eliminates the rush of trying to get in before tillage
Sampling behind tillage in the fall does not allow for good cores to be collected because of loose soil. These tilled fields are best done in the spring after soil settles
No worry of sampling partially frozen ground in the late fall, or not being able to hand probe due to frozen soil
Spring provides us with a much wider window to sample in, with long daylight hours and warm weather
Ability to sample far into the season, even after the crop is emerged. We typically can run until the end of June in soybeans!
